Ah, the American Midwest. There's something strangely magical about this place. (To be fair though, there's something strangely magical about this country.) Someday, I'd like to spend some time in this area and immerse myself in middle America. Maybe it's because it reminds me of home. The drive was all highway and the view was all corn fields. But we did get a chance to stop at the World's Largest Truck Stop, which was very much like a strange redneck twilight zone. It was entertaining, to say the least. And let's be real: only in America would people get excited to visit a truck stop. Today we're heading to Denver, where hopefully we'll actually get to walk around and have time to move our legs before our insanely long drive to Idaho tomorrow.
